We’re reminded often lately Quebec is a secular society that will no longer tolerate religious displays in public spaces, whether praying in parks or wearing visible religious symbols in daycares. Article content Article content

As our premier once said: Secularism is part of Quebec’s distinct “identity and values … because in Quebec that’s how we live.”

Well Mr. Legault: As a lifelong secular Quebecer driving my car through supposedly secular Montreal last week, I was shocked to see many disturbing religious symbols still being flaunted everywhere.
