Two gorgeous puppies were found with facial disfigurements in a dumped cardboard box. The pair, believed to have been attacked by another animal and then potentially abandoned due to being "unsellable", were treated for their injuries by vets.

They were then passed to the Blue Cross' Thirsk Rehoming Centre, then foster carers, and now the search is on to find them a loving forever home.

The Blue Cross charity says the pair are "happy, curious, and joyfully animated as they play together and pounce on their toys", and "once sleepy, love to snuggle up for a snooze with each other and their favourite people."
