Chicalim: The parish of Chicalim in Goa marked a historic milestone, celebrating 400 years of Christian faith with a solemn Mass, thanksgiving ceremony, and community festivities that brought together parishioners, clergy, and local dignitaries. The celebrations were presided over by Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrão, Archbishop of Goa and Daman, who led the faithful in a day of prayer, reflection, and thanksgiving.

Around 600 participants from across the Mormugao deanery attended the event, including former parish priests, religious leaders, and Captain Viriato Fernandes, Member of Parliament. The atmosphere was one of joy, reverence, and unity as generations of families came together to honour their shared spiritual heritage.
