COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - One person is dead after a rollover crash in southeast Colorado Springs on Saturday.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers received a call at 2:17 a.m. regarding the two-vehicle crash on Fountain Boulevard by Academy Park Loop.

Police said a white vehicle, the one that rolled over during the crash, had two people inside. They were both taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

One person inside the second vehicle, a black SUV, died at the scene. Police do not believe the victim was wearing a seat belt.

The other three people inside the SUV were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

Police said the crash occurred outside the CSPD Sand Creek station; however, they say no officers were involved.
