Tens of thousands of Oregonians are expected to take to the streets today (Saturday) in ‘No Kings’ nationwide demonstrations by citizens calling for power limits to be placed on President Donald Trump.

Portland is expected to have the largest demonstration of the more than 50 Oregon cities and towns taking part in ‘No Kings’ marches.

However, the police are expecting a peaceful march, with Assistant Chief Craig Dobson telling a news conference yesterday (Friday) that it would simply be an event at which people could exercise their First Amendment rights.
