TIFFIN — The Seneca County Honor Bus, which left Friday morning for Washington with 26 veterans aboard, is getting most of its expenses paid this year by WIN Waste Innovations of Seneca County.

The group, which includes 30 more family members and friends assisting the veterans, plans to first stop at the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pa., then continue on to Washington to see the World War II Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, and other significant national landmarks. It is due back Sunday night.

WIN Waste donated $20,894 to fund the veterans’ portion of the trip. Those who accompany them pay $300 each.
