FINDLAY — Three men were arrested early Saturday morning following a pair of altercations in the vicinity of the Brew U Sports Pub, one of which involved shots being fired from a handgun, authorities said.

Matthew Copeland, 22, was charged for weapons while intoxicated and for discharging a firearm in the city limits, Findlay police said in a news release. Police said he retrieved a handgun from a vehicle and shot it several times in the tavern’s parking lot about 2 a.m. after being involved in an altercation inside the bar. No injuries were reported.

A separate verbal altercation in the same parking lot led to the arrests of Richard Warren, 20, a Brew U employee, and Rodney Curry, 24. Police said Mr. Warren was arrested for disorderly conduct and underage consumption of alcohol, and tha
