SEVERAL PEOPLE were injured and property damaged in arson after clashes broke out between two groups in Majra village of Prantij taluka in Sabarkantha on Friday night, police said.

The skirmish was over the administration of the Kaal Bhairav temple in the village and the planning of Kali Chaudas festivities on Sunday.

Around 30 people were detained and the injured are under treatment at a hospital, police said on Saturday.
