TRI-CITIES, Tenn./Va. (WJHL) — Community members across the region attended "No Kings" protests in Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol and Gate City on Saturday.

The gatherings are part of a national movement that aims to protest the direction of the country under President Donald Trump's administration. Saturday's events mark the third mass mobilization of the "No Kings" organization and its local groups since Trump’s return to the White House

Gatherings took place at Memorial Gardens Park in the Model City, near East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in Johnson City, the corners of State Street, Volunteer Parkway and Commonwealth Avenue in the Twin Cities and at the Scott County Courthouse in Gate City.
