Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy says the tough five-game series against the Chicago Cubs was the reason for their sweep by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS. The Brewers leaned heavily on their bullpen in that NLDS, while the Dodgers got an easier path. They finished their series in four games against the Phillies and kept their arms fresh.
