Spring may have sprung, but winter isn’t ready to loosen its grip on Perth just yet, with a downpour forecast to rain on people’s weekend plans.
The Bureau of Meteorology says there is a 50 per cent chance of showers in Perth on Saturday, most likely in the morning, before a high chance of significantly more rain on Sunday.
Anywhere from 5mm to 10mm is expected to drench Perth in the morning and afternoon.
BoM meteorologist Jessica Lingard said a weak cold front was making its way across the South West of WA on Friday, bringing showers to the metropolitan area on Saturday morning, with 1mm to 3mm expected to fall primarily in the southern suburbs.
“A second cold front will then make its way through and this will probably be the wetter of the two,” she said.
“The southern suburbs will
