Baltimore police officer hospitalized after being struck by a car

BALTIMORE - Police are investigating an incident that occurred Saturday morning where police say a fellow officer was hit by a car.

The officer was struck at the intersection of Whitelock at McCulloh Street at approximately 9:43 A.M. and fled the scene following the incident.

Medics transported the officer to Shock Trauma for precautionary measures.
