2SOMERVILLE, NJ – The International Association of Firefighters Local 22, representing hundreds of firefighters, paramedics, and EMTs with ties to New Jersey, announced its endorsement of Jack Ciattarelli for governor.

Union President Mike Bresnan said the endorsement reflects Ciattarelli’s commitment to lowering taxes, protecting first responders’ benefits, and supporting retirees.

Bresnan cited the candidate’s pledge to make retirement income tax-free, maintain health care protections, and restore Cost of Living Adjustments for retired firefighters as key reasons for the union’s support.

The endorsement marks a significant show of support from a first responder organization with many active and retired members living across New Jersey.
