MABANK, Texas — Five victims have been identified in an ongoing triple homicide investigation in Henderson County.

Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said three people were killed and two others were hospitalized Friday. At 2:30 a.m., deputies from HCSO responded to a 911 call for a residence off Taos Drive in the Cedar Creek Cove Subdivision of Mabank.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The deceased have been identified as:

Kimberly Simpson, 51

Connie Patrick, 57

Rodney Hammonds, 57

All three reportedly sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Hammonds additionally showed signs of blunt force trauma and multiple stab wounds.
