BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Saturday morning, October 18, in Baton Rouge.

According to officials, the gunfire broke out in the area of Prescott Road and Airline Highway.

A spokesperson with the Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed one person was killed. The person’s name has not been released.

Details about what led up to the shooting have also not yet been provided.
