Wyoming Area established a resiliency early in the season then did not need that trait in recent weeks.

The Warriors came from behind three times in the first four games – twice on the road, twice in the second half and twice from two-touchdown deficits.

Wyoming Area was 3-1 in Division 2 of the Wyoming Valley Conference and 7-1 overall going into Friday night’s game at Nanticoke.

The Wyoming Area pass rush preserved the Opening Night victory with clutch plays late.

Ben Gravine forced a third-down incompletion and Josh Mruk came up with a fourth-down sack in the final minute to secure the victory.

Trustin Johnson carried 24 times for 138 yards and scored the go-ahead touchdown in the final seconds of the third quarter.
