Police in West Lothian are appealing for information to help trace David Lightbody, 37, who has been reported missing from Livingston.

He was last seen around 3.40pm on Friday, 17 October, 2025, in the area of Howden West Road and was heading towards Alderstone Road.

He is described as 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build with a bald head.

When last seen, he was wearing a green/brown puffer jacket with a hood, dark coloured combats and light grey Under Armour trainers.

Inspector Lindsey McIntyre said: “Enquiries are ongoing to trace David, and we are keen to make sure he is safe.

“We are appealing to anyone who has seen David, or has any information about his whereabouts, to come forward and speak with officers.”
