SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - The Republican Party of Sarasota held a Charlie Kirk tribute at Robarts Arena on the morning of Oct. 18.

The event saw many people gather and brought together community leaders, elected officials and citizens in remembrance of Kirk’s legacy of being a political activist entrepreneur and media personality.

Chris Pavlovski, CEO of Rumble, spoke at the event about the impact that Kirk had on his company and “his love of freedom of speech.”

“He was a breathing and living example of what the First Amendment was all about,” said Pavlovski.

Congressman Greg Steube also spoke at the event with an emphasis on the Christian values that Kirk believed in and how his death had allegedly sparked growth in church attendance.
