San Mateo County will have no shortage of No Kings events this Saturday, Oct. 18, to protest the policies of President Donald Trump — with Pacifica, San Bruno, San Mateo, San Carlos, Belmont and Redwood City all holding events.
In Pacifica, an event will be at Mori Point from noon to 1 p.m. In San Bruno, the event will be at 11 a.m. at the Shops at Tanforan and will include Japanese Americans who were placed in internment camps during World War II to say no to deportation. In San Mateo, there will be a march from the Hillsdale Shopping Center to Central Park starting at 1 p.m. It will begin at the West Elm Furniture store at 31st Avenue and head north to Central Park at Ninth Avenue for a 2 p.m. rally.
