New Delhi, Oct 18: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will lay a wreath at the National Police Memorial in New Delhi on October 21, 2025, to mark Police Commemoration Day.

The day honours the sacrifice of 10 valiant policemen who lost their lives in an ambush by Chinese troops at Hot Springs, Ladakh, on October 21, 1959. A joint parade of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Delhi Police will be held as part of the ceremony.

The Defence Minister, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Members of Parliament with police backgrounds, and heads of CAPFs and Central Police Organisations (CPOs) will lay wreaths to pay tribute.
