New research has found that Brits enjoy longer relationships with tradesfolk than with long-term partners. According to the figures, one in four of us has used a handyman or woman for over a decade, while the average romantic relationship only lasts eight. ‌

Half of the 1,000 Brits surveyed (48%) by Toolstation relied on the same tradie to fix problems at their property for the past five years or more. Meanwhile, almost one in 10 - some 9% - remain loyal for over 20 y
