(WNDU) - Opponents of President Trump’s administration protest across the country, including right here in Michiana.
One of those Michiana protests was in Elkhart, and one of the organizers said she’s concerned about “overreaches of power that the Trump administration is currently taking,” “the rulings of the courts” and “authoritarian breakthrough.”
“I think a huge message that we want to share is that a lot of people think that we are not patriotic because we are complaining about some things that are happening in this country and I think they’re misunderstanding the difference between nationalism and patriotism,” said Elkhart County Indivisible Founder Kate Marsh. “We are showing up because we love our country, and we are concerned about the direction that it’s headed right now.”
