After a 76-year-old woman was killed by a shuttle bus near Montreal’s airport, police said the investigation remained in its early stages Saturday and the bus driver has yet to be interviewed.

Manuel Couture, a spokesperson for the Montreal police, said investigators are focusing on the state of the vehicle and the condition of the driver, who was taken to hospital for shock.

“The investigation continues,” he said, adding police have not ruled out a criminal element, but are “looking at everything,” including whether a medical episode may have played a role.
