TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — North Dakota State and Indiana State remained in their respective locker rooms at halftime on Saturday afternoon, the result of a weather delay. It may be awhile before the game resumes, if at all.

The Bison led the Sycamores 10-7 at halftime.

The first half didn’t go without a concerning injury, either. Defensive tackle Jaxon Duttenhefer, a senior staple leader, was carted off the field on a stretcher with 1:26 left in the second quarter after an ISU running play went for very little gain.

The entire Bison team gathered around Duttenhefer near the 20-yard line. He was loaded into an ambulance, which transported him to a local medical center. No update on his condition was available.
