SALEM, N.H. —
People on a roller coaster at Canobie Lake Park had to be removed from the ride after it stopped going up a hill.
It happened Friday night on the Untamed Roller Coaster, according to the park. The carrier came to a stop near the base of the lift hill.

Guests had to be removed from the rollercoaster, the park told News 9. There were no injuries.
Video shows the coaster stopped in an upright position going up the hill.
The ride carrier can hold eight people, the park said. The maintenance team is working to determine the cause of the interruption but the safety systems functioned properly, the park said.
