VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) -- Two people have been displaced after a house fire Saturday afternoon in Virginia Beach.
Units with the Virginia Beach Fire Department were dispatched to the 5200 block of Dundee Lane around 1:15 p.m. for a reported residential structure fire.
Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke coming from the roof of the single-story structure.
Two adults were displaced as a result of the fire. Red Cross was contacted for assistance with temporary housing.
There were no injuries reported to civilians, firefighters, or pets.
The origin of the fire was the attic. The cause remains under investigation.
