WATERTOWN — With the playoffs just around the corner, it might be a good idea for the state's Class 11AA football teams to not forget about defending champion Watertown.

The Arrows evened their season record at 4-4 with their fourth win in the past five games , an impressive 29-15 victory over Sturgis on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, in a game played at the Allen Mitchell Athletic Complex in Watertown.

The final score doesn't really show the Arrows' dominance, which produced a 29-0 advantage through the game's first 2 1/2 quarters.

"Our defense has been doing really good and our offense just feeds off the energy the defense gives out," Watertown junior tight end-defensive end Hunter Peterson said.
