Thousands of protests took place across the country Saturday as part of the national ‘No Kings’ movement against President Donald Trump and his administration’s policies.

“We don’t bow down to somebody who wants to have total power for themselves,” said Maggie Kelso, chair of the Mercer County Young Democrats, at a rally outside the Mercer County Courthouse. "The power is in the people."

‘No Kings’ events in the Mahoning and Shenango Valleys included protests in Mercer, Grove City, Hermitage, Warren and Youngstown. The Youngstown rally Saturday afternoon drew hundreds of people.
