Rohit Sharma, as always, has continued to dominate headlines in India. He’s set to feature in the three-match ODI series against Australia starting Sunday and the chatter around his present and future are refusing to die down.

Now, a recently shared video from the charitable Make-A-Wish Foundation of Rohit’s interaction with some children is going viral for similar reasons. In it, one of the kids is heard asking Rohit about his next game, to which he replies that it is against Australia.

“I will play in October. On the 19th of October, we are playing in Australia," he said.

Another kid then asks Rohit when the next World Cup will be and whether he’d play in it.

“I want to," Rohit said.

The boy insists that he wants to see Rohit bat.

“There are a lot of matches before the World Cup,"
