Thousands of people marched from Friendship Fountain to the Duval County Courthouse on Saturday afternoon to join the nationwide “No Kings” protests against President Donald Trump’s administration.

This was just one of about a dozen protests that were held in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia to voice opposition against Trump’s policies.

Police blocked off the Main Street Bridge for Duval County protestors to take over the street and march all the way to the courthouse.

Protestors of all ages and backgrounds were seen chanting and holding signs as they made their way to the courthouse. They said they viewed the demonstration as a safe space where they could be around like-
