The BJP unit of Morva Hadaf broke into celebrations on Saturday after candidates backed by the party won all 10 seats of the Khedut Vibhag (farmer wing) of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) in the elections held on Friday.

The Khedut Vibhag election recorded a 99% voter turnout. A total of 18 candidates were in the fray.

Sitting APMC Chairman and BJP leader Hardeepsinh Jadav won with the highest margin of 192 votes while another director Krishnakumar Desai received a majority of 178 votes. Other BJP leaders who won with a big margin include Moti Jhalaiya (176 votes) and Savji Bariya (175 votes).
