CONCORD, N.H. —
Governor Kelly Ayotte and the New Hampshire Executive Council held a meeting on Saturday at the Bridges House in Concord to vote on several spending items that were postponed during the week.
A heated debate erupted on Wednesday concerning the amount of information councilors were receiving about state contracts.
After receiving the necessary documents, councilors agreed to hold an extra meeting. Among the contracts discussed was one for repairs to Route 12 in Charlestown, where the roadway has been reduced to one lane for five months.
The work on this project was scheduled to begin on Monday.
