ADA COUNTY, Idaho — With the November election approaching, campaign signs are beginning to appear in Ada County, prompting officials to remind residents of placement regulations designed to maintain driver visibility and road safety.
The Ada County Highway District has established specific guidelines for temporary campaign sign placement under its sign ordinance. Signs must be positioned at least 40 feet back from intersections to prevent obstruction of drivers' sight lines. The measurement begins where curb lines intersect, or for roads without curbs, where pavement edges meet.
