Alberta MLA to head to Washington to deepen partnerships with the U.S.

An Alberta MLA will be heading south of the border on Sunday in an effort to deepen partnerships between the province and the United States.

Shane Getson, MLA for Lac. Ste. Anne-Parkland will be in Washington, D.C. from Oct. 19 to 22, not only to strengthen partnerships but also to advance shared economic, trade and investment priorities.

While there, he will meet with U.S. legislators, officials and Members of Congress in the U.S. capital for the Pacific NorthWest Economic Region (PNWER) 2025 Capital visit. This will allow him to connect with key U.S. federal and state legislators.
