Hundreds of people gathered Saturday at Vancouver’s Gretchen Fraser Park as part of the No Kings protest, a nationwide demonstration protesting President Donald Trump and his administration’s policies.
The protest was largely peaceful except for one incident with a driver that resulted in a crash on the 15300 block of Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard, where demonstrators lined the streets.
According to a press release from the City of Vancouver, a vehicle traveling westbound rear-ended another vehicle. The impact pushed the vehicle onto a section of the sidewalk.
A pedestrian attempting to move out of the way fell and sustained minor injuries. No protesters were hit by any vehicles, and no one was transported to the hospital.
