Officials are investigating a murder-suicide and a homicide that occurred within days of each other.

On Friday at 5:22 p.m., the Clark County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a shooting call at a 7-Eleven on 6212 NE Highway 99. When first responders arrived, two men were found inside the store with gunshot wounds, according to a statement by the sheriff’s office.

Both were transported to a hospital and were later pronounced dead.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating the incident. According to officials, based on initial statements and evidence, it appears to be a murder-suicide.

The victim was an employee at the store and had no apparent connection with the suspect.
