Toronto runners are hoping, praying, and some are even paying witches to magically reverse the rainy weather forecast on Sunday for the annual TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon.
Runners took to social media this week to share their worries about keeping pace through the rain, with a few going the extra mile to hire a witch on Etsy to cast a spell for good weather on Sunday morning.
Content creator Sarah Jenkins says she’s never been the type to check the weather in her day to day life, but lately she’s been checking Sunday’s conditions religiously ahead of her first marathon.
“I spiraled because like I've done everything in my power to control what I can in this race. But the one thing I didn't really think about was weather,” she said, adding she had an awful experience with blisters and
