SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A Savannah murder suspect has learned his fate after taking a negotiated plea deal this week in court. 26-year-old Rashad Deshawn Williams pled guilty to 2 of his 9 charges.

Savannah Police say Williams shot and killed Ashton Gibbs on Broughton Street after a road rage incident in 2022.

The shooting happened on May 8th of 2022 .

Savannah Police say Williams was in his car when an argument turned deadly around 2:30 a.m. Police say Williams shot and killed 32-year-old Ashton Gibbs. A 30-year-old woman, who was also shot, survived.

U.S. Marshals later tracked down and arrested Williams in Ohio .
