Ruben Amorim joked he is "really annoyed" with Bruno Fernandes after missing two penalties for Manchester United .

Fernandes has scored the most penalties for United in Premier League history (23).

The midfielder established himself as the designated penalty-taker during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's tenure and only briefly lost that responsibility during Cristiano Ronaldo's second stint at the club.

Before this season, Fernandes had last missed a penalty against Chelsea in December 2023. The midfielder's penalty record has been exemplary, but he sent a penalty over the crossbar against Fulham at Craven Cottage and his penalty was saved against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.
