No. 18 Virginia completed a dramatic fourth-quarter comeback to defeat Washington State, 22–20, on Saturday night at Scott Stadium, clinching the win with a game-ending safety in the final seconds.
Down 20–10 entering the fourth quarter, the Cavaliers (6-1) stormed back with a 2-yard touchdown run by Harrison Waylee and a 34-yard field goal from Will Bettridge to tie the game with under three minutes to play.
