CHATTANOOGA – It just keeps happening over and over again for the East Tennessee State Buccaneers.

For the forth time this season, ETSU had a lead in the closing seconds but couldn’t hold on to it. Chattanooga scored the winning touchdown with 11 seconds remaining to down the Bucs 42-38. ETSU falls to 3-5 overall and 1-3 in the Southern Conference. Chattanooga moves to 3-4, 2-1.

Things started slowly for ETSU as they got down 21-10 at one point but came storming back to take a 37-21 lead with 10:17 left in the contest. A grand total of 42 points were scored between the two teams in the final quarter. The Bucs went for it on 4th-and-1 at the Chattanooga 32 yard line but the Mocs’ defense held. They got the ball on the turnover on downs with 1:55 showing on the clock and marched downfield
