Melbourne-based Swann Communications, a global leader in security appliances, is undergoing major executive changes following the sudden departure of senior executives — including its CEO, who also served as Chief Technology Officer, and its Global Marketing Director.

Swann was originally founded by David Swann in 1987 before being acquired by American-Chinese security technology group Infinova.
Departing the company is CEO Alex Talevski, who stepped into the top role three years ago after serving as Swann’s CTO. Before joining Swann, Talevski held senior technology roles at BlueAnt Wireless and Azure Healthcare.
