NEW DELHI: A pregnant woman was fatally stabbed by her former live-in partner, leading to his death at the hands of her husband during a violent confrontation on Saturday night around 10.15pm in Delhi's Nabi Karim area. The victims were identified as Shalini , 22, and Aashu alias Shailendra, 34, while her husband Aakash, 23, sustained multiple stab injuries during the altercation and is currently receiving hospital treatment. The incident occurred when Aakash and Shalini were traveling to meet her mother, Sheila, on Qutub Road. Aashu suddenly appeared and attacked Aakash with a knife. "Aakash managed to dodge the first blow, but Aashu then turned towards Shalini, who was seated in an e-rickshaw, stabbed her multiple times," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Nidhin
