However, despite the hype, Seth Curry did not appear in any preseason games for the Warriors. Then on Saturday, the team made a surprising announcement that left fans puzzled. According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the Warriors have waived Seth Curry, but there’s still a possibility he will return.

“The Warriors, as expected, have waived Seth Curry with the intention of re-signing next month when they have sufficient financial flexibility to bring him back,” Stein wrote.
