Bucks keep surprise 9.7 PPG forward on final roster

The Milwaukee Bucks may have found one of the more underrated roster additions this preseason.

On Saturday, they chose to keep Amir Coffey on their final roster. It was a bit odd that Coffey had been as uncertain as he had throughout the offseason, but the move could pay dividends.

The final roster spot was reported initially by Michael Scotto on X .

Coffey is a 6-foot-7 wing who has only so far played for the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA.

Last season, the 28-year old averaged 9.7 points per game.

He shot a blistering 40.9% from 3-point range in 2024-25 for the Clippers.

Why the Warriors cut Seth Curry in a waiver move

This preseason, Coffey got just 11.4 minutes per night and averaged 3.3 points.
