Venezuela Fury has disclosed that her boyfriend was petrified about how her father Tyson Fury would respond to his intention of proposing at her sweet 16th birthday celebration.

Noah dropped to one knee after previously seeking the former heavyweight world champion boxer's blessing to do so.

Despite feeling "very shocked", Venezuela happily said yes to the proposal, and she subsequently discovered that Noah had experienced "palpitations" before mustering the nerve to approach her renowned father about it.

Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous magazine , she remarked: "I think any boy would be scared of my dad!

"But it's the respectful thing to do. He said he was having palpitations about doing it, he was all kinds of nervous. It went well, though. My dad wouldn't interfere
