Mangaluru, Oct 19: Carmel English Medium Higher Primary School, CBSE, celebrated Grandparents Day with immense joy and affection on October 18 in the school auditorium. The event, organised by the Nursery and Kindergarten sections, was a beautiful expression of love and gratitude towards the grandparents who play such a vital role in every child’s life.

The celebration was graced by Fr Alwyn Richard D’Souza, director of the Family Life Centre, Bajjodi, diocese of Mangalore, as the chief guest. He was joined by principal Sr Pramila, administrator Sr Julie Ann, and other dignitaries.

The programme began on a heartwarming note as the tiny tots greeted their grandparents at the entrance with roses a gesture of love and respect. The event commenced with a soulful prayer dance
