As the nights draw in, the temperature is getting colder and it certainly feels like we're in autumn.

While we're not in the coldest months yet, weather forecasters are predicting the arrival of some snow.

There could be a blanketing of snow later this month, according to wxcharts.com.

A powdering of the white stuff could fall over the highlands of Scotland come Friday, October 24.
