As the festive season of Diwali approaches, banks across India are set to remain closed for multiple days in October 2025. Known as the festival of lights, Diwali is not just a one-day celebration. In many states, it spans several days, with each day holding its own cultural and regional significance. This year, the festive week brings a string of bank holidays in different states for Diwali and related observances like Naraka Chaturdashi, Laxmi Puja, Govardhan Puja, and Bhai Dooj.
