GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WBTW) -- Crowds of people packed downtown Georgetown over the weekend for the 36th annual Wooden Boat Show, a beloved fall tradition highlighting the area's maritime past.
More than 100 displays were on hand for guests, along with boatbuilding, a race, youth sailing regatta and vendors along Front Street.
Launched in 1993, the event not only celebrates Georgetown's rich seafaring past, but also helps to boost downtown businesses.
